As far as I can remember, I always carried around a book, a pencil, and something to draw on.
I’m Courtland, and I’ve been writing, acting, speaking in front of others, and telling stories since I was nine years old. I know that story telling—regardless of the subject matter—can help someone else enjoy a good movie, motivate them to change their political opinion, or can help them appreciate a culture they are unfamiliar with.
That’s why I founded Royal Court Media.
I am an impassioned storyteller, seeking to create visual imagery and captivating words that helps others tell their own stories, in their own ways. From writing, to producing, acting, and photography.
My subject matter and industry interests extend to public relations, entertainment, politics, travel, and culture—they all have stories to tell too.
In the future, I hope to extend Royal Court Media to produce television, film, and multimedia ventures about Black stories, American culture, food, and travel, lend my voice to animated projects, and direct an award-winning film.
